Space Science Policy, Fall 2020

I was employed at NASA Ames Research Center for nearly a decade as assistant to three Mars scientists. These scientists worked with the robotics team to develop prototype robots for tests in the Atacama desert in Chile. I accompanied one them on a trip to Chile after which we returned to Ames and analyzed the results. Upgrades were made in both robotics hardware and software that could eventually be used on actual Mars missions.
