Behavioral Neuroscience, Spring 2023

Juliana is a Behavioral Neuroscience PhD using a variety of computational, chemogenetic, and behavioral techniques to capture how dopamine circuits (conserved between species and known for their role in motivation, learning, and reward) change throughout development. She’s excited about the implications that these studies have for changes in juvenile justice, education, and food systems and about being part of a group that values the role scientists should have in communicating the importance of their research.
